So after months of waiting for news about my future studies i finally went into Uni today and asked the faculty. After waiting and being sent to another office i found out that my application is all ready and just waiting the signature of some head honcho who has been on holidays and i should expect an offer letter some time next week...
Now dont get me wrong this is great, however when i get home and on the net, i discover two emails. One from my supervisor offering me a tutoring job and another from my admin contact telling me she wasnt sure what was happening but to expect positive news soon...so after months i get a flood of positive news...argh why couldnt they give me that a month ago or even a week ago??
Now this is where is gets great, i am on the verge of signing a new contract at work with more supervisor hours (more pay) and one of those shifts is on a tuesday starting at either 5 or 7 on a tuesday and then tutes i am supposed to teach are at 4 and 5...its takes me an hour to get home...so if the shift is at 5 i am screwed but if its at 7 i have one hour to finish up my tute and get my arse to work in peak hour traffic....so after months of no news i have great news that is just slightly marred by the clash in uni life and work life...argh!!
So while i am still waiting i have almost good news which is better then no news so yay for me!!
